Methuen Senior Center belongs to the national program TRIAD that brings together representatives from the Senior Center, Mayor Zanni, Methuen Police and Fire Departments, the Essex County Sherriff and the District Attorney's Office to address safety issues facing seniors and the community.  On Monday, February 27, 2017 the Methuen Senior Center was presented with a check for $695.00 from Methuen Rotary to help alleviate some of the cost of Lock Boxes for low to moderate income seniors.  These Lock Boxes are used to assist first responders with quick and easy access to an elder or disabled person's home in the event they cannot get to the door.  The cost of each box is $139.00 plus taxes and shipping.   For additional information, you can contact Fire Captain Michael Buote 978-978-8919 or call the Methuen Senior Center at and ask for Sue Foster at 978-983-8825.  Pictured presenting the check from left to right Tim Frechette Methuen Rotary, Cheryl Parent Methuen Rotary, Corinne LaCharite, Executive Director Methuen Senior Center, Julie Little Methuen Rotary, Captain Michael Buote Methuen Fire Department ( Not Pictured but instrumental in the partnership, Susan Foster Methuen Senior Center)
